Discovery of the Château de Crèvecoeur:

Accessible by a single bridge, and housing the manor house, in other words the lord's dwelling, the upper courtyard is protected by its water-filled ditches, its motte and its 12th century wall, pierced by arches.

The agricultural character of the place is also very present. The farmyard houses a farm, a dovecote and a barn, which form a very beautiful architectural ensemble, representative of regional half-timbered buildings. Originally protected by an embankment topped by a wooden palisade, it was then the place of refuge for the villagers in case of attack.

Norman medieval history is there, alive, moving, captivating! A rich history of nearly ten centuries, attested by documents and objects that have come down to us, from the twelfth century, a prosperous period of donations to the abbeys, to the publication in the nineteenth century of a book relating the history of the English treasure.
